  1. Register your domain name(select a .com, .net site name)  I recommend Pappa Shop.  It'll cost $10.99
  2. Select your web hosting plan  $12.95 per month at Pappa Shop.  They have great service and easy to follow tutorials. The basic plan is all I've ever used and is perfect for those just starting).
